About this Event
South East Chicago Commission (SECC) will host “Uniting Ideas, Forging the Future,” its 6th annual regional economic development symposium on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at The David Rubenstein Forum.
Small business owners, economic development professionals, and civic leaders are invited to learn best practices and strategies to grow, scale, and sustain their businesses and business communities.
The 2024 SECC Southside Connection Symposium, presented by The Allstate Foundation, will begin with a networking meet and greet including light continental breakfast. At 9:00 am the Symposium commences with welcome remarks and keynote conversation “Uniting Ideas, Forging the Future,” moderated by NBC Chicago, and featuring Caroline Grossman, Executive Director, Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation and Xavier Ramey, the founder and CEO of Justice Informed.
Following the keynote, there is a dedicated opportunity to make Quick Connections for networking during the break.
The founders panel presents, “Pivoting for the Future with New Ideas,” focusing on how companies position their brand to access capital and essential resources for their business to succeed.
