Our aim is to help prepare the women entrepreneurs and small business owners to hone their pitches to successfully seek financing, whether it's from an angel investor or a bank. The winner(s) of the Pitch Contest will receive a cash prize. To give women the skills to develop a successful pitch for their business, SCORE Greater Seattle is also offering a FREE online seminar, Tricks and Tips Workshop on Navigating Funding from Banks and Investors on March 12th. Following the seminar (or before it), contestants can choose to request a SCORE mentor to help develop and refine their pitch.

2. March 12 - Tricks and Tips Workshop on Navigating Funding from Banks and Investors Seminar. You can register here and registration is required to attend. Note that you can attend the seminar even if you don't plan to enter the contest.
3. March 12 - 29 - Assemble and Hone your pitch. See Pitch Contest Requirements here. (Optionally) Work to do so with your SCORE mentor. If you don't have a SCORE mentor, you can find one here.
4. March 29 - Pitch Submission Deadline to submit your pitch. Registration closes for Pitch Contest.
5. April 4 - Finalists will be announced and invited to make in-person pitches to a panel of judges on April 25th, which will include angel investors and bankers.
6. April 25 - The pitch presentation will be held at the SCORE facility at 2401 4th Ave, Suite 450, Seattle, WA 98121

Winners will be announced shortly thereafter.
