Aligned with the Royal Queensland Art Society’s commitment to fostering young talent, the Young Artist Award (YAA) is an open competition for artists aged 30 and under. With a prize pool of $2,500, this award aims to spotlight Queensland’s emerging fine art champions. Young artists are encouraged to submit paintings or drawings of subjects that have been created and observed from life.
The exhibition will be on display at Petrie Terrace Gallery from Friday, 27th of September to Sunday, 27th of October, 2024.
