Our 4th Annual Packz4Kidz backpack event will serve children in need of backpacks and school supplies at a first come, first served event. It is our goal this year to provide 300 low-income children in Pueblo with new backpacks full of school supplies to ensure they start the first day of school with the confidence and supplies they need to be successful. In addition there will be a community resource fair for families.
Each child will be able to pick out a new backpack full of school supplies. Children in grades pre-kindergarten through 12th grade will be served. Children are encouraged to attend but not required. If children do not attend, a birth certificate for each child is required along with a photo ID for the parent.
This event is first come, first served. No referral is required. Each family will be required to fill out an anonymous survey prior to being served.
