Join us for the free Production Institute Film Showcase, celebrating the 13 original short films produced by the 2024 Production Institute cohort.Fellows were selected from a highly competitive pool of talented South Side media makers and underwent 14 weeks of intensive production training to produce and direct their own 5-minute narrative and documentary projects. The development of these projects deepened their artistic capacities, strengthened community connections, and built collaborative relationships across generations and gender.
The film screening is held in person on Sunday, September 22 at 4pm in the Performance Hall at the Logan Center (915 E 60th St). The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers moderated by Elizabeth Myles, Editing Instructor and Digital Storytelling Initiative Program Manager, and a light reception.
