Please join us for the Oregon Session of the 2024 Pacific Northwest Sacred Harp Convention, October 19-20 at the Laurelhurst Club in Portland OR. We'll sing from 9:30-3 both days, from the 1991 Denson revision of The Sacred Harp. Loaner books will be available. Dinner on the Grounds will be at noon both days. Registration and coffee will begin at 9 AM each day.
Free-will donations will be collected both days to cover convention expenses including venue rental.
Friday evening, we will be a social to actually socialize (!) at Pizza Jerk NE, 5028 NE 42nd, 7-9
Saturday and Sunday Socials to be announced.
Housing: Please contact [email protected] to inquire about staying with local singers. Spaces are limited, so please don’t delay!
Covid Protocol:
We kindly request all attendees to take a Covid test each singing day, less than 2 hours prior to entering the venue. We will have a limited number of tests available at the door.
Those with symptoms suggestive of viral respiratory illness, i.e. nasal congestion, sore throat, fever or cough, are requested to refrain from attending -- even if testing negative for Covid.
Venue doors and windows will be open to ensure optimal ventilation. Please dress accordingly.
