2024 Pizza For A Purpose - CS Rotary Club Annual Fundraiser

Join us at Napa Flats Wood-Fired Kitchen for a delicious and meaningful event! Our 'Pizza for A Purpose' Drive-thru/Pick-up Fundraiser is the perfect opportunity to support a great cause while enjoying mouthwatering pizza.

Your ticket purchase will include: One pizza (Pepperoni, Cheese, or Margherita) and one bottle of wine (Pinot Noir or Pinot Grigio) or non-alcoholic drink of your choice.

How it works: Come to Napa Flats parking lot located at the corner of Harvey and Texas Ave. (1727 Texas Ave. S. College Station, TX) between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20th, 2024. Just follow the signs to place your order with a Rotarian once you arrive!

Please be prepared to show your Eventbrite online receipt and a valid driver's license if you purchased wine.

History: Since 1990, the Rotary Club of College Station has partnered with local organizations to sponsor its Christmas season Clothing for Kids event on the first weekend in December benefiting families in need. Families are identified by Project Unity, Family Promise, College Station ISD, and local churches as those in the community struggling to provide basic necessities.

Continued Success: Since we began this annual initiative, nearly 2,500 local youth have participated in our holiday shopping spree to purchase $125 to $200 in items of clothing of their choice. For the 7th year, Books and A Blanket will join us to distribute five books and a blanket to every child. The children are the primary beneficiaries of this project. They get to select new clothing of their own choosing albeit with parental guidance. And, often there is even a learning opportunity as older children must prioritize their wish list within the budgeted amount.

A Heartwarming Event: Families and children will shop with Rotarians, Texas A&M Rotaracters, and Target employees for items on their 'wish list'. It is truly heartwarming to see the children select clothing of their choosing, that families likely would not be able to afford otherwise. And, Books and a Blanket supplement the clothing with a selection of books and a blanket as the shopping trip comes to a close.

Last year, thanks to your donations, we served 91 local youth. Please help us serve that many or more this year!
