We are thrilled to finally share our 2024 conference programme with you! This year our theme is ‘Connecting the Dots’ and so in keeping with this, we have partnered with OUPMS, OUEngsoc, OxFEMTECH and OXWIG to put together an interdisciplinary panel with speakers from various walks of life as well as a societies fair. We will also be hosting 3 outstanding keynote speakers, Dr Catherine Jackson, Associate Professor of the History of Science at the University of Oxford, Dr Edwige Moyroud, Research Group Leader at the Sainsbury Laboratory at the University of Cambridge, and Dr Caitlin Hafferty, Postdoctoral Researcher in Environmental Social Science
Land, Society & Governance programme at the University of Oxford.
The two-day event also promises many opportunities to network whether that is over pastries, at the drinks reception or at our highly anticipated finger food buffet! In keeping with OxWEST tradition, there will of course be stash and sponsor merch for all participants.
This is a fantastic opportunity to discover more about the value of interdisciplinary collaboration in tackling the challenges we face today and form new connections that we hope will last well into the future. Our 2024 conference is an exclusive free event for only 40 attendees so please follow the link in our bio to register whilst there are still places left.
We will confirm places by email by 8th March and will send out another form at the beginning of Trinity term to reconfirm your attendance.
