The Canterbury Drummers Club are pleased to be hosting the 3rd annual Otautahi Solo Drumming Championship - our major event on the calendar for 2024. This is the largest solo drumming event in NZ and we are extremely excited that this year's event will run alongside the RSPBA Oceania Solo Drumming Championship event that is being hosted by the RNZPBA, with two spots up for grabs at the Semi Finals of the World Solo Drumming Championships in Glasgow this October - the first time a qualifying event has been held in the Southern Hemisphere!
Again we are pleased to confirm that Andante Drums have come on board to supply brand new Andante drums for first place in the aggregate Open/A Grade Side Drumming and Open Tenor Drumming! Lock in the date and get practicing - we'd love to see drummers from throughout the Centre and beyond entering (there's already a couple from across the Tasman!) - as always there will be events on offer for all levels and abilities!
