SYNOPSIS:
Over 30 years of using the “Affinity Process” and “Interrelationship Diagrams” in academia and industry to find root cause problems revealed relationships between system components. Whether it was working on a problem or issues with a team project, committee, proposal, event, presentation, or taking a college course, there was a pattern of three phases of activity that formed a sub-system within the overall system. Understanding and adopting the three-phase model can help you organize and plan almost any endeavor faster and operate at a higher level. This presentation shows the evolution of the three-phase model, gives examples, and discusses the important considerations and pitfalls of each phase
