About the speaker – Pamela McCarroll serves as Vice Principal and Jane and Geoffrey Martin Chair in Practical Theology at Emmanuel College of Victoria University in the University of Toronto. She is an ordained minister and a Certified Supervisor-Educator with CASC. Her published research is broadly within the area of practical theology, integrating lived experience into theological reflection. She has published broadly in areas of spiritual care and chaplaincy as well as on the lived experience of hope especially in contexts of suffering. At present and over the last several years, she is examining Christian practical theology in the face of the climate crisis. She lives in Toronto and loves teaching and learning from human and other-than-human creatures.
