About this Event
The New Hampshire Energy Summit will be held at the Holiday Inn in Concord on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Registration will open at 8:00 AM. We anticipate 150 to 200 attendees including industry professionals, trade associations and other end-users, as well as public officials from the legislature and regulatory agencies.
Program Highlights:
Featured Speaker: NH Senate President Jeb Bradley: Senator Bradley has been the architect of energy policy in NH for most of the last 30 years. He will address how the NH energy industry has matured, lessons learned and a view forward.
Emerging Federal Energy Program Opportunities for NH: Representatives from the US Department of Energy and the NH Department of Energy will highlight energy grant and tax programs which are rolling out in NH as part of the Inflation Reeducation Act.
Market Transformation: James Andrews, President of Granite Shore Power will address redevelopment plans for the company’s legacy power plants at Shiller Station and Merrimack Station becoming Clean Energy Parks. In addition, Jim will speak to the emerging need for reliability balancing resources in the region.
Ready For 2029: What will the NH Energy Market look like 5 years from now: This panel discussion will offer guideposts for the energy market in NH in 2029, with the hope that legislative and regulatory policy will be pointed in that direction.
Additonally, Candidates for Governor have been invited to address the Summit and offer their views on energy and business policy as they prepare for a new administration.
