Bring a friend to participate in the annual Memorial Day “Murph” challenge and then stick around for a post-workout coffee, protein bites, and LMNT to hydrate!WHAT'S THE MURPH?
The Murph is a Hero WOD in memory of Navy Lt. Michael Murphy who died in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. This is completed each year on Memorial Day by CrossFitters, Navy Seals, and more.
The workout consists of a one-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and another one-mile run, all done consecutively.
We will have (and encourage) a modified version for individuals not ready to take on the Murph Rx'd (as written above).
There will be (3) heats to choose from:
1) 0730
2) 0810
*3) 0900 - Beginners Event
We’re looking forward to this WOD on Memorial Day! Bring a friend and join us in Sioux Falls.
