Registration begins at 8:00 am - 2:00 pm at the entrance of the Middlesex Canal in North Woburn. Parking is available across the street at the Council of Social Concern parking lot - 2 Merrimac St. Rain or Shine. Please help us restore the beauty of one of Woburn's greatest and most important historical resources. Importance of the Middlesex Canal: It is a Historic Civil Engineering Landmark, and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We need volunteers to: Pick up and recycle the trash; Rake leaves; Prune and remove dangerously dry brush. What to bring if you have them: Rakes, gloves, pruners, loppers, leaf blowers, W**d whackers and chainsaws. Long-sleeved shirts, pants and protective glasses are recommended.
