Madtown Bass Club is going back to the Big Bass Bash roots and hosting on Lake Mendota for the 10th annual Big Bass Bash! Many of our anglers have been pleading with us to bring this format back to Mendota and this will be the first Mendota BBB since 2018!
This is the most unique bass tournament format in all of Wisconsin as it all it takes is ONE BIG BITE to win a whole lot of cash! There are hourly weigh ins and the biggest bass (largemouth or smallmouth) weighed in that hour takes the prize! Biggest bass of the whole tournament wins the grand cash prize. Historically, this event would draw 40+ boats and hourly cash payouts are typically $600 or more!
This event will be hosted out of Marshall Park on the west side of Mendota and hourly weigh in's will be done on the convenience pier on the lake side at the entrance to the harbor. Tournament waters will be Lake Mendota and Cherokee Marsh - no locking is allowed to Lake Monona.
Max of 2 anglers per boat (you can also fish solo) - $160 per boat

Boat order is first come, first served based on online entry and online early entry will end at 5 PM on Friday, May 17. Day-of sign up is allowed but Cash Only for day-of and it is still first come, first serve. Check In and day-of-registrations will be held in the parking lot near the boat launch piers at Marshall Park harbor. Check in and day of registration starts at 5:30 AM and pre tournament meeting will be held at 6:45 AM.
