We will be back at the Grand Hotel for the End of the Year Cornhole Bash!
🏨 The Grand is again offering excellent rates for the cornhole players if you book before 10/24 by calling the hotel at 410-289-6191 to lock in the rate at $119 per night.
💰 Entry Fees:
Main Events (doubles, 6 Player and Big switch)
$80 per player
Singles (Open, Seniors, Womens)
$20 per player
Sunday ACL points Blind Draw
$20 per player
💵 Payouts: 80% payout minimum for all events! Based on a solid turnout we are expecting for this one we are hoping to payout over $12k!!
100% payout for the Sunday morning ACL Point blind draw.
📅 Schedule of events:
Friday:
-Singles - Open, Seniors and Women’s divisions
1PM Registration, Bags fly at 2PM
$20 entry fee per player with the top 10% of teams getting paid out in each division.
-Doubles - Bring your own partner
6PM Registration, Bags fly at 7PM
4 game round robin into 2 double elimination brackets. Competitive and social. Top 10% of teams in each bracket will be payed out.
Saturday:
-6 Player Event
9AM Registration, Bags fly at 10AM
We are excited to announce for this one you will stay with your doubles partner this year. To form the 6 player teams we will take Friday nights doubles results and split everyone into A, B and C groups. Each 6 player team will consist of a doubles team from each group picked randomly. We will do a 5 game round robin format where you will play with all 5 of your teammates once. We will then separate into 2 double elimination brackets (competitive and Social) based on the round robin results with the top 2-3 teams getting payed out in each bracket.
-Saturday Night Big Switcholio
6PM Registration, Bags fly at 7PM
3 game switch followed by competitive and social double elimination brackets. The method of splitting into divisions will be decided ahead of time(ppr, dpr, record/differential among others). Doubles teams will be randomly drawn for the brackets with a top half player drawing a bottom half player inside the split groups. Players may be bumped up to competitive upon request if they have shown good play leading up to Saturday night. Top 10% of teams will be payed out in each bracket with a higher percentage going to competitive.
Sunday:
-ACL Points random draw
Double elimination bracket. $10 entry fee with 100% payout.
We will also try to run ACL point sit and go’s throughout the weekend if time allows!
As always we need to work with the Grand hotel on their policy of no outside alcohol inside the ballroom. It is in our contract and allows us to use this great space! Please abide by this rule so we can all continue to have a great time!
