2024 Light the World Gala

• Social Mixer/Raffle Ticket Sales/Silent Auction Preview at 4:30 p.m.
• Appetizers served from 5 - 6 p.m.
• Program from 6 to 8 p.m. with a 20 minute intermission

Our annual gala is a time of celebration and time to remember who we have come here to be. It is also SLC's annual event to raise financial support to fund our mission to transform lives. Your support will help this beloved community leave our legacy for generations to come.

2024 THEME: Forever Young

SPECIAL MUSICAL GUEST: Mark Stanton Welch

Program will also involve elements that incorporate our Youth of Unity.

LIGHT THE WORLD HONOREE: Rev. Janee Marth - for her years of service which include being our volunteer Minister of Youth Education and Youth of Unity Adult Sponsor, being elected twice to the Board of Trustees, offering regular Sunday Experience meditations, providing weekly Power of Silence meditations, offered classes like Way of Mastery, becoming an Interfaith Minister while at SLC, as well as being a regular guest speaker for Women of Spirit and other Unity Churches and more!

ARTIST RAFFLE: Louise Vidaurri being asked to gather from Faith in Action artist donations of artwork that can be used for either the Live Raffle or the Silent Auction.

INTERACTIVE GAME: Congregants will be asked for their baby photos (birth to toddler age) and current photo so we can have congregants try to do a matching game during the program for prizes.

SPONSORSHIPS & SILENT AUCTION DONATIONS: If you become an event sponsor, SLC will contact you for the names of your guests and to secure seating for one of the two performances. You do not have to personally attend this event in order to be a sponsor.

Soon we will also be calling for Silent Auction donations. Watch for Sunday Experience announcements and updates on our website.

Ticket sales will close when sold out or by day's end Wednesday, September 25th, whichever comes first.
