Each spring, the Taste of Olam Haba Liberation Seder celebrates the freedom story of the Exodus by connecting it to present-day struggles, delivering the tools to take action, and celebrating with food, friends, and song.This year’s Seder will explore the fight for justice from Arkansas to Palestine to let all children, and their children, and their children’s children break the chains of colonialism, occupation, and imperialism to live in freedom everywhere.
We are grateful to the Islamic Center of Little Rock for hosting this event at their community center.
We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all who are interested in doing so to engage fully.
All food will be kosher and vegetarian.
The event is family-friendly and we will have family tables and activities for the kids.
Tickets are required! We are offering a sliding-scale ticket option. This ideally allows people to choose a price point that feels both generous and financially accessible; people with class privilege and more access to money select prices towards the higher end of the scale making it possible to offer lower, more accessible price points as well.
