Come out to Watauga’s Capp Smith Park to enjoy a fun evening with the family, fishing and camping out under the stars from 6pm on September 13th – 10am on the 14th! Poles and bait will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. This FREE event is open to all! Don’t forget to bring your tent and camping gear!The fishing Derby is from 6pm – 9pm for kids, ages 16 & Under! People of all ages are more than welcome to fish! Breakfast pastries & beverages will be provided at Pavilion 1 from 8:00-9:00am the morning of the 14th. The campout will end on September 14th, at 10:00 AM.
*Adults, age 18 & older are required to have a fishing license. Fishing licenses are not required for kids, ages 17 and younger. This is a catch & release event.
*Registration is required. Registration will open August 1st. Registration can be done online or at the Hector F. Garcia Community Center located at 7901 Indian Springs Rd. Questions? Call 817-514-5828
