5 Rounds SS; G/25+5 (Clocks will be set with 25 minutes per player, and a 5 second increment that adds time back after each move). Accelerated pairings may be used at tournament director discretion.

This is a qualifying event for the 2024 Kentucky Closed Championship. The top Kentucky player who has not already qualified will receive an invitation to this event. More information can be found here: https://bit.ly/2024KCAClosedPath
Unrated players: In lieu of a published regular rating, the tournament director reserves the right to use live regular or quick USCF ratings for pairing and prize eligibility purposes. For this event, unrated players are eligible for all prizes.

Onsite Registration and Check-In: 9:00am-9:45am
Start Time: 10:00 AM
Anticipated End Time: 4:00 PM
Round 1 - 10:00 AM
Round 2 - 11:10 AM
Round 3 - 12:20 PM
Round 4 - 1:30 PM
Round 5 - 2:30 PM
Players must check in before 9:45am or otherwise contact the Chief Tournament Director to ensure they are paired for Round 1.
Players arriving after registration will receive one half-point bye and will be paired in subsequent rounds. Half-point byes may be requested for any round during registration only (1 max).
Boards and Pieces will be provided. Please bring clocks.
