2024 Juneteenth Freedom Day

Experience a vibrant celebration at Festival Park in Portsmouth on Saturday, June 15th, as the Urban League of Hampton Roads presents its second annual Juneteenth Celebration. This event will feature live music from renowned national artists and music from local band The Fuzz Band and will be complemented by the hosting talents of K'bana Blaq and DJ JOFROXI.

In partnership with the City of Portsmouth, this family-friendly gathering offers a range of delights, from soulful food trucks and showcases of black-owned businesses to artisan vendors and performances by local and regional bands. Additionally, attendees can delve into the historical significance of Juneteenth with a special Juneteenth VA Historical presentation.
