Join Indigenous leaders from the Great Plains and across Turtle Island for a day of powerful conversations about our shared future on September 13th at the Milo Bail Student Center in Omaha, Nebraska. At the 2024 Indigenous People's Summit, esteemed experts will lead panels around pressing topics such as Indigenous Peoples Sacred Sites, Land Back, Indigenous Economic Sovereignty, and Economic Development. Speakers and panelists include tribal leaders and elders, Indigenous entrepreneurs, and representatives of earth-based nonprofits and will be announced through social media. Follow the Comunidad Maya Pixan Ixim on Facebook for updates!
This all-day summit will not only provide an opportunity to educate the local community and elevate Indigenous voices but will also serve as a space to build intertribal diplomatic relationships and continue our conversation on trade throughout the Great Plains and among all our relatives throughout Turtle Island.
