The 2024 Health Summit: Equity, Opportunity, and Well-Being for All is an exciting conference dedicated to exploring innovative approaches and strategies to improve the health and well-being of our communities.
Join us on Nov 12 & 13, 2024 at Pennington Biomedical Research Center Conference Center, 2328 Irene Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70808 for two days filled with insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and collaborative sessions.
The Louisiana Center for Health Equity, in collaboration with the Louisiana Department of Health, Pennington Biomedical Research Center and additional partners, is pleased to announce the 2024 Health Summit: Equity, Opportunity, and Well-Being for All. The Summit will open on Tuesday, November 12 at 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (registration opens at 8:30 AM)and resume on Wednesday, November 13 at 8:30 AM until 3:30 PM with breaks, including a lunch break.
The purpose of the 2024 Health Summit is to improve health in Louisiana by focusing on outcomes for women and children. The ultimate goal of our collective work is LA40by2030, or for Louisiana to rank in the top 40 for health outcomes by 2030. This work includes identifying, developing, and promoting practices and policies to support children and families.

Continuing Education Opportunities
As an incentive, we are pursuing continuing education credits for physicians, nurses, attorneys, and social workers.

Registration Information
Early Bird registration rate - $125 until August 16 or until sold out. First come first serve.
Sponsor a community member - $150 through November 1
Student rate (Must show vaild student ID) - $75 through November 1
Resource tables for nonprofit community organizations - $500 through November 1 or until sold out.
Group rate - 10% discount minimum of 3 through November 1
Scholarship opportunities may be available.
