2024 Girls in Aviation Technology Day - Attendee Sign-Up

Join us on Saturday, October 26, 2024 for an exciting day filled with aviation adventures!

This year’s event will be hosted by the Atlanta Wheels Down South Chapter of Women in Aviation. The event will expose girls and boys to aviation through challenging and exciting activities . We plan to spark an interest in aviation to all of those who attend, by introducing them to role models and educating them in a fun and supportive atmosphere!

Students 1st-12th grade are welcome. Registration is for students and their chaperones.

Chaperones (adults) must get a ticket for the event and must accompany children under 16 years of age at all times.

Students must register for specified check-in times, broken up by school grade:

* **Siblings may register together/same check-in times, regardless of the school grade***

09:00am (1st - 4th Grade)

11:00pm (5th - 8th Grade)

01:00pm (9th - 12th Grade)

At the 2024 Girls In Aviation Technology Day, you'll have the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of aviation alongside other aviation enthusiasts. This event aims to inspire and empower girls to pursue their dreams in aviation.

Throughout the day, you can participate in various hands-on activities. You'll also get the chance to meet and learn from experienced female mechanics, engineers, technicans and aviation professionals.

Whether you're curious about engineering, interested in aircraft mechanics, or simply want to broaden your horizons, this event offers something for everyone. So, come prepared to have a fun-filled day and discover the exciting possibilities that aviation holds for you!

Please note that this is an in-person event, and all necessary safety measures will be in place to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone. For your safety, we REQUIRE all attendees to wear closed toed shoes.
