The 35th annual Fine Arts Exhibition explores “Forced Perspective” as the 2024 theme. When experiences challenge our worldview, when encounters lead to a reexamination of long-held beliefs, when we realize jarring truths or witness inescapable realities… artists and audiences are invited to consider how enduring discomfort affects how we relate to ourselves, each other, and the world.
The Decatur Arts Alliance invites the Decatur community to experience the juried multimedia exhibition featuring 60+ unique artworks from across the United States, presented in conjunction with the Decatur Arts Festival. The provocative show will be available in the Fourth Floor Gallery of the Decatur Library, a part of the DeKalb County Public Library system and home of the Georgia Center for the Book. Extended hours during the Decatur Arts Festival weekend, May 3-5. Meet the artists and celebrate the exhibition with light refreshments at the closing reception on Friday, June 14.
