The sixth annual Forest City Youth Film Festival celebrates the incredible talent of young filmmakers from across Southwestern Ontario.30 incredible short films will be screened, spanning 6 categories. The event will be followed by the Red Carpet Soirée, a social event that allows filmmakers to mingle with our audience and their fellow filmmakers!
AWARDS
In each of the 6 categories, the Runner-Up wins $200 and the Winner takes home $300. The top two films from the five eligible categories will also go on to screen at the Ontario Youth Film Festival (OYFF), competing against top youth filmmakers from other regional festivals from across Ontario!
In addition, special prizes will be awarded to films that standout across all categories at the FCYFF:

🏆 Best Use of Sound
🏆 Most Enterprising Young Filmmaker
🏆 Audience Choice Award
