Fastlane Raceway's Slideways Saturday Dirt Oval Series is back for 2024 with some changes designed to make the program run a little quicker and finish a little earlier. Slightly shorter seeding and qualifying rounds provide minutes that add up and bring the end of the night a little earlier.
The Seeding Round will now be timed providing racers 90 seconds in each class to run their best 3 consecutive laps. Heat races will be 25 laps. A Mains will remain 50 laps with 30 lap lower mains.
There will be awards for the top 3 finishers in each class at each round and for trophies for the top 5 finishers on points at the end of the series (in each class that averages at least 5 entries).
Entry fees are $25 for the first entry. $10 for each additional entry. We will accept Fastlane Loyalty Cards to discount the first entry to $20.
Expected classes (depending on turnout):
21.5 Street Stock - 21.5T Hobbywing Justock Motor & Justock ESC
13.5 Sprint - any ROAR approved 13.5T 540 motor & ROAR approved ESC in blinky mode.
Open Sprint - any ROAR approved 540 motor & ESC
Slash Midwest Modified - Spec Slash with XL5 ESC & Titan 12T brushed motor or BL-2s brushless motor with restricted gearing.
Open Late Model - any ROAR approved 540 motor & ESC
Midwest Modified - any ROAR approved 540 motor & ESC
Limited SC - 10.5T Hobbywing Justock Motor & ROAR approved blinky ESC
Open SC - open motor & ESC
Spec Bandit - XL5 ESC & Titan 12T brushed motor
Novice - any 2wd 10th scale vehicle
13.5 Midget - 13.5T Hobbywing Justock Motor & Justock ESC. GFRP rules.

Doors open at 10:30 am
Practice at 11:30 am
Racing starts at 2:30 pm
