Come out to Santee State Park at the Primitive Group site(beside of the boat landing) and join us in a weekend of fun by the Lake.
We will have vendors on site, Gearage sale, group meal, educational workshops, and a gear raffle to benefit the SC State Park Palmetto Campout Program. Come help us raise $4K to donate to the program! If you plan to attend, please mark “GOING” on this event so we can get an accurate head count for food.

THURSDAY
12 Noon Registration Begins
FRIDAY
All Day
* Gearage Sale- members buy or sell used gear. Members must leave their name & phone number with gear on the table.
* Splicing Station Demo- Trevor Bates (Hanging High Hammocks)
7 a.m. -9 a.m. Coffee and Breakfast until food is gone.
Group members bring it to the kitchen and volunteers cook it.

9am-11 am Vendors open for business
11 am – 12 noon. YoboGear Demo
12 noon-2pm Lunch (on your own)

5 pm Campfire

9:30/10 pm Midnight Bacon
Midnight Bacon has always been a long-standing tradition with PSH. We Started it! Now everyone talks about it. Just wanted to bring up one thing… Everyone loves Midnight Bacon but we do not have enough people bring bacon to cook sometimes. Please bring bacon with you if you can but not required to . If everyone brings a pack then we will have enough if there is too much bacon (That is funny) then we may not need yours or could use it if breakfast. Thank you to the members that ALWAYS bring bacon.

* Tables must be cleared by 2 pm to get ready for raffle & dinner

4. Fundraiser Ideas: To keep from increasing the membership cost again, due to inflation, we need some fundraising ideas and fundraising Committee.
5. Members can ask the board any questions they may have.

* Group Members cook side dishes for Potluck dinner.
6:30 – 7:30 pm Dinner - Bring your own mess kit. In order to reduce waste NO paper plates or plasticware will be provided.
Mark Bloomer will cook the BBQ. Members and guest need to provide side dish or dessert. Please make enough to feed your family plus 2 other members. The goal is to have plenty of food for all and enough to feed the last people in line.
7:30 – 8:30 pm Clean up from dinner, tear down, and pack up trailer Volunteers needed

SUNDAY Pack up, clean up, and leave. Everyone must be out of camp no later than 11am. Yes, this one needs to be 11am. This is a big event and it takes time to get anything cleaned and police the area for trash and any left other items.
