Come hear directly from youth storytellers about their experiences with school pushout and the power of youth organizing and leadership. Connect with others passionate about education justice and learn what you can do to join with our youth to improve our schools!
Emcee Arlyssa Heard, Deputy Director of 482Forward and Director of Legislative Policy Chair, Hope Village Education Team
Storyteller Robert, a recent grad and Youth Action Michigan leader, will share a story of losing a parent, exploring identity, and the power of organizing and leadership, even in the face of an unjust suspension.
Storyteller Kennedi, a senior and Youth Action Michigan leader, will also join us.
We will also be honoring Molly Sweeney from 482Forward.
