Join us all summer starting June 11 for our Detroit Riverwalkers program presented by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy! The free walking program encourages health and wellness for older adults who are 50+.The program begins June 11 and is held weekly every Tuesday & Thursday through August 22. *There will be no program the week of July 4.
Every program will feature:
- Health education
- Fitness classes
- Opportunities to speak with health experts
- Fitness classes on Thursdays at 9 am
- Blood pressure screenings
- Walk and Talk with our providers
- Best-kept AARP secrets
- Surprises throughout the program
- Walk the riverwalk at your own leisure
