The Daniel Pearl World Music Day, organised annually for over two decades, commemorates the life and works of Daniel Pearl, a reporter who was kidnapped and murdered by terrorists in Pakistan in 2002 while reporting for the Wall Street Journal.
The event promotes cultural understanding, universal friendship and press freedom, and "Harmony for Humanity." The event is supported by Taiwan Foreign Journalists Club (TFCC), Association of Taiwan Journalists (ATJ).
This free-of-charge open-air event is scheduled on Saturday, Octomber 2024 at the Taipei City Hakka Cultural Park from 14:00 - 21:00 PM. Featuring the following bands: Mudflat Ronin (Muddy Basin Ramblers), Kora, Billy Walshaw, Moshe Foster & Friends, Yoshi Ozaki, and more.

Taipei's longest running outdoor concert returns to the Taipei Hakka Cultural Park on 10/19 for a day of music, community, friends, and freedom!
A variety of food, snacks, drinks, beer, and cocktails will be available. We encourage you to visit our local vendors to minimize waste and clean up efforts of our staff.
Note: This is a peaceful, family friendly event, don't bring prohibited items to the venue.

露天活動定於 2024 年 10 月 19 日星期六下午 14:00 至 21:00 在台北市客家文化公園舉行，並免費開放入場。我們很高興邀得泥灘地浪人, Kora, Moshe Foster & Friends, Yoshi Ozaki, 多個知名樂隊和歌手一同參演。
Daniel Pearl 世界音樂日已經舉辦二十年，以紀念Daniel Pearl 的一生和其傑作。Daniel Pearl 生前是一名記者，2002 年在巴基斯坦為《華爾街日報》報道時被恐怖分子綁架並殺害。
