This event is presented by Historic Vienna Inc., and the Town of Vienna. Thanks to our sponsor RTR Pilates.Enjoy live holiday music, a tree lighting led by Mayor Linda Colbert and great deals from local Church Street businesses! Visit historic sites such as the Freeman Store and Museum, Little Library, Caboose, Train Station, Knights of Columbus (formerly First Baptist Church) and Vienna Presbyterian's Old Chapel.
Fire pits will be placed on each block of Church Street with free marshmallow roasting for all. Santa will arrive at 6:15 p.m. on the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department's antique truck to help Mayor Colbert light the Town tree and will be available for visits on the Freeman store front porch after the tree lighting.

Gingerbread Wonderland
New this year! As you stroll down Church Street to visit businesses and enjoy the firepits and marshmallow roasting stations, this year you’ll also find gingerbread ornament decorating stations. Pick up your ornament at participating businesses or visit the decoration stations for wood ornaments and all of the supplies you need to create something special: paint markers, bows, stickers, and more.
Gingerbread Ornament Competition: Bring your decorated ornament to the Town of Vienna tent (across from the Freeman Store) by 6:50 p.m. to officially submit it for judging. Prizes will be awarded in several categories to ornament artists of all ages. Winners will be announced at 7 p.m. at the event by Mayor Linda Colbert. Winners will receive a pack of gift cards to local businesses.
Don't forget to complete your visit to Gingerbread Wonderland with a selfie or festive family photo at our gingerbread house arch at the end of Church Street near Lawyers Road.
Street Closures
Church Street will close between Mill Street and Dominion Road at 3 p.m. on Dec. 2. Church Street will close from Dominion Road to Lawyers Road at 6 p.m. Additionally, Mill Street will close between Church Street and Maple Avenue at 6 p.m.
