Join us on Day May 29th from 7pm-9:30pm as we raise funds for the 4th Annual Charles River Jazz Festival with an evening of live music, food, community, a raffle and more. Don't miss this extraordinary evening of music, mingling, and philanthropy. Come together to celebrate the spirit of jazz and make a meaningful difference in our community.

Guest Speakers
Live Music: Devon Gates is a bassist, vocalist, and composer from Atlanta, Georgia, now based between Boston, MA and Brooklyn, NY. Through studying anthropology and jazz performance at Harvard University and Berklee College of Music, she has worked with Terri Lyne Carrington, Linda May Han Oh, Vijay Iyer, Danilo Perez, Claire Chase, Yosvanny Terry, and esperanza spalding, and has performed with Social Science, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Susie Ibarra, Michael Mayo, Alexa Tarantino, Immanuel Wilkins, Kenny Werner, and Tia Fuller. In 2020, she released her first EP, “Voice/Bass” on Bandcamp, followed by the release of single “skipped that step” in spring 2023. In 2022 her original composition “Don’t Wait” was published in Berklee Press’ “New Standards” collection of 101 lead sheets by female jazz composers.
Silent Auction: Our silent auction offers a unique opportunity to bid on a variety of exclusive items and experiences, with all proceeds going towards the 2024 Charles River Jazz Festival, which will take place on July 14th at Herter Park Amphitheater in Allston, MA. Your participation will help us continue to bring the magic of jazz to our community and support local artists.
