About this Event
Introduction
The Industrial Resilience Research Group at the Institute for Manufacturing (IRRG), University of Cambridge, is hosting a workshop to explore the challenges and opportunities in enhancing resilience within the global critical mineral supply chain, and exploring the role of UK and India in this context.
This workshop aims to bring together leading experts from industry, academia, and government to discuss key issues and opportunities in the critical minerals sector. The goal is to foster collaboration and develop actionable strategies for building a resilient and sustainable supply chain for critical minerals.
This workshop is supported by the UK-India Critical Mineral Supply Chain Observatory project. This initiative, spearheaded by the IRRG in collaboration with IIT Bombay and in partnership with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) and Google. It aims to establish a robust, transparent, and resilient framework for managing critical mineral supply chains, vital for high-tech industries globally, including in India and the UK.
Objectives
- Facilitate engaging discussions to analyse the current challenges and opportunities facing critical mineral supply chains, with a specific focus on the UK and India.
