"Join us for an insightful keynote by Dr. Jana Brown, Au.D., FAAA, at the 2024 Colorado Academy of Audiology Fall Convention. Dr. Brown, a board-certified audiologist and former owner of Allegany Hearing & Balance, brings a wealth of experience as past president of the Maryland Academy of Audiology and current member of the Maryland Board of Examiners for Audiology, Speech Language Pathology, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Music Therapy. She will guide us through Maryland's recent legislative achievements, discussing updates that expand the role of audiologists to include diagnosing, managing, and treating patients; ordering imaging and bloodwork for hearing and vestibular conditions; and conducting health screenings.
