2024 Business Awards Presentation Night

We will raise our glasses to all the wonderful entrepreneurs and business leaders who are doing great things on the business, leadership, optimism, and innovation front and who contribute to our community in a powerful way. We'll also raise our glasses to the year that was, the year ahead, and the festive Christmas season.

The MBN Business Awards have been celebrating the endeavours and successes of businesses and entrepreneurs across the Melbourne's CBD and metro regions since 2004.

We are announcing EIGHT MBN Awards Category Winners as listed below. From the 8 category winners, the overall MBN Business of the Year Award will be selected!!!

• Alan Knipe Innovation Award - Sponsored by recognises a stand-out business that has developed a unique or new product, service, system, device or process.
• Start-up/New Business Award - Sponsored by recognises a business that is kicking goals despite being in operation for less than three full financial years.
• Leadership Award - Sponsored by recognises the roles that leaders, current and emerging, play in business and the values and behaviours they consistently display.
• Entrepreneur Award - Sponsored by recognises outstanding achievement by entrepreneurs and business founders who can demonstrate a positive contribution, impact and/or achievement in areas such as; effective leadership, business growth or sustainability, successful start-up or innovation.

• Female Entrepreneur Award - Sponsored by recognises a stand-out individual who has demonstrated great leadership, innovation and business growth. A positive role model for women and young people who plays a vital role in their business community.

• Young Entrepreneur Award - Sponsored by recognises a resourceful, driven and imaginative young business leader (up to 30yo) who is doing great things on the leadership, innovation and new business front.

• Optimism and Well-being Award - Sponsored by Victor Perton "That Optimism Man" from recognises individuals or businesses that have demonstrated commitment to the well-being and optimism of staff by encouraging and facilitating self-care and wellness programs.

• Innovative Marketing Campaign Award - Sponsored by recognises businesses that have developed an innovative marketing campaign or applied innovative marketing concepts to solve a problem, improve processes and reach their target market.

Once you've checked-in and have your name badge, please feel free to mix, mingle and network. This event is complimentary for everyone to attend. Finalists are encouraged to bring their team members and guests to be part of the celebrations.

Additional notes:

• RSVP-ing for this event is mandatory. MBN Members, Finalists and Guests will be sent an email with a private link for registering. General public and non-members can register here. The MBN President reserves the right to approve the final attendee list.
• Drinks and appetisers will be provided to attendees through the gracious support of our principal sponsor, StarRez.
• Dress code is business attire.
• Our format is akin to a big cocktail party with informal seating arrangements. (In other words, no assigned tables or seating.)
• The night is designed to be fun and we want you to meet and engage with other guests.

Finally, be sure to bring your business cards as you never know who you will meet. Formalities for the evening will commence from 5:40pm.
