Bikers with big hearts is an annual ride that was created to help assist families with financial burdens during a rough time in their life.Our vision is help a local family, while supporting local establishments,and having a great time while doing so.
2023 was an absolutely successful,
we averaged about 100 motorcycles
a full party bus and cars following the bus.
what to expect-
sign up starts 10:00 am at Aly Annes in Dwight Illinois
band will start at 10am
ceremonies will begin at 11:45am
kick stands up at 12:00pm.
rest of stops will be announced at later date
after party will be at Bighouse
in chatsworth Illinois
food trucks will be on hand to serve food
the band the sumthins will be playing
and a dj will be playing music after.

The date of the accident was 6:00 a.m. November 2nd 2023. The injuries were pretty severe. Thankfully he had no brain trauma. He had major lung trauma, four broken ribs on the left side two broken ribs on the right side, his left shoulder was broken front and back, his occipital lobe was broken, his nose was broken, his left ear is missing, and he had spinal fractures in all three regions of his spine. One of those was severe enough that it required a spinal fusion spanning five vertebrae. During his stay in the hospital his lungs completely failed, at one point they collapsed and put him into heart failure. Because his lungs could not oxygenate he was oxygenated by a system called ECMO that pumps the blood out of his body, through an oxygenator, and back into his body. He was on ECMO for just over a month.
