The Beaufort Film Society is pleased to present the 18th annual Beaufort International Film Festival (BIFF) February 20-25, 2024. As of November 2023, BIFF was ranked by filmmakers as one of the TOP 100 Best Reviewed Film Festivals by FilmFreeway.

Awards will be presented in the categories of Feature Film, Documentary - Short and Feature Length, Animation, Short Films, Student Films, and Screenplays. We will also have the Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Ensemble Cast and Best Musical Score categories. And the ever popular audience voted awards -Audience Choice and Best Comedy.

Our Behind the Scenes Award will go to Linda Lee. Linda is based out of Charleston, SC, serves as President of the Carolina Film Alliance and owns Linda Lee Locations.

A special presentation of "The Spirit of Beaufort: Remembering Forrest Gump" will be screened on Saturday, February 24th at 2:00 pm during Block 4. The Director Daniel Stanslowski from Poland is scheduled to appear for a Q&A following the screening. The screening will be held at USCB Center for the Arts 805 Carteret Street. The Opening Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, February 20th @ 5:30 pm at 805 Cateret Street. Marlena Smalls (Bubba's momma from the movie Forrest Gump) will be performing a concert titled: Bubba's Momma Sings the Blues. Dress code: Business casual.

Screenings will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at University of South Carolina Center for the Arts located at 805 Carteret Street, Downtown Beaufort. PLEASE NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKALLOWED IN THE VENUE. AS WELL, NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE NEWLY RENOVATED AUDITORIUM PER THE USCB CENTER FOR THE ARTS. The Pre-Awards Champagne Reception and Awards Ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 25th located at 805 Carteret Street, Downtown Beaufort. Dress code: Formal Optional. **** TIME:**** 2 pm for the Champagne and Passed Hors d'oeuvres and the AWARDS portion of the event will begin promptly at 3:00 pm. NO TICKET SALES AT THE DOOR

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS UNLESS THE EVENT IS CANCELLED BY COVID OR OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS AND ONLY A PORTION OF THE TICKET COST MINUS FEES AND BEAUFORT FILM SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
