The 2024 Battle on the Boardwalk is Thursday, Aug. 29!! This will be the 12th year for this two-day multi-faceted event that brings together the community and area schools. This year's event will feature both Boys and Girls volleyball teams at Grand Haven’s Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium!
Due to the great support from our donors and sponsors, this event sponsors scholarships and funds both Grand Haven Volleyball's Girls & Boys teams.
In 2023, GH Girls Volleyball won its 17th consecutive District Championship (21st win in 22 years), and 3rd Regional Championship in program history! In 2024, GH Boys Volleyball captured its 4th consecutive Conference Championship, held the #1 D1 ranking for five straight weeks, were District Champs and State Runner-Up with a 48-5 record!

Wednesday, Aug. 28: Adult 4s Competition
Thursday, Aug. 29: High School Boys & Girls Matches
- Boys Matches: @ 9:30 a.m.
- Girls Freshmen @ 11 a.m.
- Girls JV @ 1:30 p.m.
- Girls Varsity @ 4 p.m.
