Please join Martin County Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES)/Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES), Inc. and Martin County Amateur Radio Association (MCARA) at the Martin County Fairgrounds located at 2616 SE Dixie Hwy in Stuart, FL for the 2024 ARRL Field Day. ***Note that our event is in Building A on the north end of the fairgrounds. Just look for the beam antenna on top of the green tower trailer. There is a separate event that is charging admission in Building G on the south end of the fairgrounds.
The ARRL Field Day is the single most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada where more than 35,000 radio amateurs aka "hams" gather to operate from remote locations for 24 hours. This event is open to anyone interested in the amateur radio hobby and especially encouraged for newly licensed amateurs.
We will begin transmitting at 1400 EDT on Saturday, June 22nd through 1400 EDT Sunday June 23rd.
Everyone is welcome! Especially newly licensed operators or those interested in the hobby. Everyone can get on the air!
