2024 ARIZONA/CALIFORNIA AGRICULTURAL EMPLOYER SEMINAR

The AZ/CA Ag Employer Seminar is an event that has been organized and offered to Agriculture employers from both Arizona and California for 17 years. It is currently organized and offered by the Arizona Department of Economic Security and the Arizona Department of Agriculture with the assistance of .

Attendees of this seminar will learn of legal updates, regulation revisions and other important information for both Arizona and California in areas of Agriculture such as labor laws, industrial safety, food safety, transportation and many other important topics.

This event is offered in English and Spanish concurrenlty in different rooms. The Spanish session is geared towards Forepersons/Crew Leaders, Safety Coordinators, Supervisors, Ag Bus Drivers and other Farm Labor Contractor and Growers' Staff who work directly in the field with agriculture workers. The English session offers similar topics only geared more towards growers/farm owners, farming managers, human resources staff, FLC management, office staff and others tasked with upper management duties. The English session will yeild 3 AZ/CEUs.

This event is completely FREE of charge. Participants will enjoy breakfast and other refreshments sponsored by Western Growers Association, the Yuma Fresh Vegetable Association, Relation Insurance and the Yuma Area Ag Council.
