Our biggest public event of the year! On April 27th we will be on the Newburyport Waterfront behind The Customs House Museum (25 Water Street). Please join us for free classes and demonstrations. Connect with your Tai Chi Community and share what we do with the public! We are looking forward to seeing you there!
There is construction taking place in the NRA East Lot adjacent to the lawn, so parking in that lot is very limited. Parking is also available in the Waterfront Trust Parking Lot, Green Street Lot, and Newburyport Intermodal Parking Garage. Parking is paid via kiosks or through the Passport Parking App.
Here is our planned schedule:
9:30-9:55 - Arrival and Socializing - Come meet your Tai Chi Community!
10:00 - Primary Set Qigong (All are welcome!)
10:20 - Short Form Practice and Free Classes (All are welcome!)
10:55 - Short Form Demonstration (Anyone who knows the form is invited to participate)
11:00 - Tai Chi Ball Form Demonstration (Anyone who knows the form is invited to participate. BYO Ball!)
11:05 - Tai Chi Saber Demonstration (Anyone who knows the form is invited to participate BYO Saber!)
11:10 - Long Form Practice and Free Classes (All are welcome!)
11:40 - Sword Form Demonstration (Chris and Pam will demonstrate the 2-person sword form)
Tai Chi Matching Set Demonstration (Anyone who knows Parts 1&2 is invited to participate)
11:45 - Katana Form Demonstration (Sensei Michael and his students will demonstrate this form taught in the Martial Movement classes)
11:50 - Primary Set Qigong (All are welcome!)
