Leadership Geauga’s Alumni Service Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Next Step, located at 13211 Aquilla Rd, Chardon. The day will be split into two shifts – 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (project prepping) and 12:00 – 3:00 pm (complete projects). The day aims to revitalize key areas within the facility, prioritizing the downstairs bath, kitchen, and laundry, followed by the common room. Volunteers will undertake various tasks, including deep cleaning of walls, cabinets, floors, fixtures, and appliances, as well as painting trim, backsplash, and walls. This initiative embodies the spirit of community service and collaboration fostered by Leadership Geauga, aiming to enhance the environment for all those who utilize the Next Step facility. Continental breakfast, lunch, and water will be provided to volunteers.*Note — this service day project is solely for Leadership Geauga alumni. The Signature Adult Class of 2024 has a separate project at Century Village.
