2024 All Paws Walk for Pet Cancer Awareness

Join Grand Marshal Ashley Renee at the 2024 All Paws on Deck Walk for Pet Cancer Awareness. This will be our first post pandemic event and we are excited to bring back the education, the awareness and the joys of pets ownership and to recognize the courage of those who are survivors of pet cancer and the human family members.

All Paws on Deck will kick off its pet cancer awareness events for 2024 with its Annual All Paws on Deck Walk and Benefit for Pet Cancer Awareness at the East Baton Rouge Parish Public Library on Sunday, September 22nd from 3 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.. The library is located at 7711 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70806.

The walk honors pet cancer survivors, those who have lost pets to cancer and those committed to find a cure to pet cancer. BRPROUD's Ashley Renee will serve as the Grand Marshal this year. The walk allows pet owners who have lost furry babies to cancer to lead the walk followedd by those whose pets are cancer survivors to follow and community members to walk in support of finding a cure for pet cancer.

This event features a powerful Memorial Wall for pet owners to post a memorial to acknowledge their loss. They are welcome to post a picture, a note or a beloved momento on the Memorial Wall.

There will be updates on the latest research in pet cancer information about pet cancer and financial assistance programs for pet parents with pets suffering from cancer.

The Pet Cancer Art Gallery will be back this year.

It is a fun filled afternoon of education, demonstrations, and this year's "The Running of the Hounds " fashion show. Favorite events will include the always popular Cutest Puppy Contest, Owner/Pet Look Alike Contest, "Sexy, Sassy, Seasoned Senior Contest", "the Super Wiggle Contest" and of course the "My Dog Never Obeys Me" Contests. All registered pets will receive a "wag bag" of treats.
