A Free, In-Person, Parent Support Group for adoptive, foster, or kinship families in the Long Island ~ Encompassing both Nassau and Suffolk Counties with a location easily accessible to both!We’re thrilled to announce the return of our in-person Long Island support groups for adoptive, foster, and kinship caregivers, facilitated by LI AGAPE staff ~ meeting on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Each facilitator brings their own lens of lived experience (foster parent, adoptive parent, adult adoptee).
Join us for our monthly Long Island Caregivers Connection LIVE Nassau and Suffolk County event, where we’ll delve into crucial topics such as:
understanding our children’s behaviors
fostering parental resilience
tackling school challenges
addressing social and emotional hurdles
exploring therapeutic versus traditional parenting approaches
