AAON Great Raft Race, presented by Public Service Company of Oklahoma and Vital Energy, is making a triumphant return for 2024, alongside celebrating Zink Lake and Zink Dam’s completion during the Big Dam Party!
Since its inception in 1973, the Great Raft Race has symbolized community spirit and outdoor adventure. With your unwavering support, we revived this beloved event in 2015, and we're thrilled to bring it back again as part of the Labor Day festivities.
We invite you to join us for an exciting and iconic Tulsa day. Althrough registration for the race is closed, we've included all the information to participate in spectator activities below. SAND SPRINGS LAUNCH
8:00 to 11:30 a.m.
Case Community Park
2500 S River City Park Road, Sand Springs
See the rafts for the first time before they float down the river! Grab your lawn chair and watch the rafts launch, buy official raft race merchandise, and enjoy music from the DJ. ☕ Coffee Boost! Need a pick-me-up before you hit the water? Stop by Hayday Coffee Truck at the Sand Springs launch zone for your caffeine fix!

10 a.m. - 4 pm. DJ, food trucks, beer stands, helicopter rides, inflatables for kids, and more!
1:00 p.m. Awards presentation (Tentative, if everything goes according to plan!)
Celebrate at River West Festival Park with a lineup of exciting activities for all ages and the best viewing of the rafts making their way to the finish line on Zink Lake.
? Kidzone: Dive into adventure with Okie Kidz Inflatables, featuring thrilling water slides and a bounce house.
? Helicopter Flights: Soar above the city with FlyTulsa! Enjoy a scenic helicopter ride for just $40 per person, running from 10am to 4pm on a first-come, first-served basis.
? Entertainment: Groove to the beats of DJ Connection with our emcee Ray Martinez keeping us going and setting the tone for a festive day.
? Food & Drinks: Savor delicious eats from Andolini’s and Pita Place Mediterranean Grill food trucks and refreshing cold beers from Welltown Brewing. Cool down with Mister Softee’s treats and enjoy snowcones from Kona Ice.
? Zink Lake: Open for fishing and paddling! Rentals are available for a fee via Tulsa’s newest outfitter, Zink Lake Rentals. Reserve your watercraft today.

WHITEWATER EXHIBITION TULSA
2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tulsa Wave Park, located across the pedestrian bridge near Gathering Place on the river
Tulsa Wave Park will debut on Labor Day weekend, and we could not pass up the opportunity to put some homemade rafts down the whitewater flumes. Watch as our most daring racers take their turn down the rapids.
Want to take your shot at the Tulsa waves? The park will be open all weekend from 7:00 a.m. to sunset. Grab your kayak, stand-up paddle board, canoe, or raft, and hit the waves. Learn more by visiting the River Parks Authority, which manages the new attraction.

ZINK LAKE + TULSA WAVE PARK PUBLIC ACCESS
Zink Lake is open to the public for fishing and paddling from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Rentals are available for a fee via Tulsa’s newest outfitter, Zink Lake Rentals. Reserve your watercraft today and pick up at River West Festival Cove at River West Festival Park.

Sand Springs - Case Community Center
Parking is free at Case Community Park, check with our parking attendants if you have questions.
River West Festival Park
Parking is limited at River West Festival Park. We highly recommend using ride-sharing services or the free shuttle service provided from parking at Tulsa Community College downtown. RiverParks trails are also open. Grab a bike or stroll along the trail system and across the NEW pedestrian bridge to join our party.
Handicap/accessible parking is available inside River West Festival Park.

SHUTTLE SERVICE
Racer Trolley
11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sand Springs <-> River West Festival Park
A shuttle will connect racers from the launch site in Sand Springs with the finish line in Tulsa every thirty minutes beginning at 11 a.m. with final shuttles leaving at 4:30 p.m.. The pickup location will be at the roundabout just inside the park’s main entrance.
Public Trolley
9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Free spectator parking will be available at TCC Metro Campus with a looping shuttle transporting guests to two drop off zones:
1. River West Festival Park and
2. Energy Transfer Sports Courts at Gathering Place.
