2024/2025 FLA Season Sisters 3 Flounder Fishing Tournament- Event #2

Tournament # 2 for the 2024/2025 FLA Season we will be fishing out of the Jim King Ramp Sat. Oct. 5th for 3 flounder. All teams must check in (Have your team #) at the ramp or text Danny Waters your boat number at 904-813-6475 to be entered in the tourney. Check in will be located near Bill Lancaster's grey Toyota pickup in the parking lot. Tourney within a tourney will be offered then ($50 buy in).
Safe light is 7am. The staging area will be the bridge fenders to the south and the concrete bulkhead of the ramp to the north. Odd teams start 1st and even is a few mins behind. An air horn will signal the start. You must be back in this area by 3pm or you will be DQ'd. You must be back inside the same starting area by 3pm or you will be DQ'd. Weigh-in will begin at 3:15 PM. Flounder must measure a minimum of 14 inches. Remember 3 fish beats 2 and 2 beats 1 regardless of weight in the point total. All fish must be weighed and released alive to avoid a penalty. 1 lbs penalty for weighing a dead fish. All weighed fish must be released at the dock so AJ Hunter can verify the fish swims away, or you will lose your release points (2 points per fish).
Lifejackets and K*ll switch on when the big motor is running. Common water safety rules must be followed at all times. No passing in minimum or no wake zones. No boundaries, except running or fishing in the ocean (past inlet's jetty).
After weighing your fish, please present your catch for a quick photo. We will recognize the tournament's top 3 at the weigh in so stick around for the presentation.

If this is your 1st time fishing with the FLA, we encourage you to arrive by 6:30 am so you have plenty of time to check in and launch. Typical practice is to park, check in with tournament director, prepare your boat, and then launch.
