CAMPAIGN KICK-OFF LUNCHEON: WHO IS ALICE?
ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) could be a relative or friend. ALICE earns just above the Federal Poverty Level but less than what it costs to make ends meet. These struggling households are forced to make impossible choices each day. ALICE also represents the data reshaping the dialogue on financial hardship and a grassroots movement that is gaining momentum across half of U.S. states - and counting. The United Way of the Concho Valley will be highlighting ALICE and making an impact in their lives as we move into our 100th year in the Concho Valley.
