2023 - VIRTUAL Cal Poly SLO MSA Alumni Networking Event

This event is fully VIRTUAL, but inshaAllah next year we will have a big event in-person in the fall quarter! Please RSVP by May 8th.

Schedule:

11:00 am - 11:45 am: Settle In & Introductions

This will be a time for everyone to settle in on the call. At about 11:15 we’ll start the event and give an overview, and students and alumni will introduce themselves (name, major, where they currently work/what they do).

11:45 am - 12:25 pm: Presentations

Presentation #1 - 10 min

Q&A/Buffer

Presentation #2 - 10 min

Q&A/Buffer

12:30 pm - 1:10 pm: Panel

The panel will consist of 4 alumni and will be an opportunity for students to ask follow-up questions, as well as ask prepared questions that were not addressed during the presentations. (40 min)

**Break from 1:10 to 1:20 (Dhuhr time)

1:20 pm - 2:30 pm: Closing Remarks + Networking

We will do closing remarks before the networking session so students and alumni can leave straight from the breakout rooms/1-on-1 sessions when they are done. Students will get an opportunity to virtually network with the alumni in the fields they'd like to pursue or the experiences they'd like to know more about. They may choose to share screens and show their resumes/cover letters and will hope to seek review/advice from those of you who are able to offer it.
