2023 USNA Engineers Dinner

Society of American Military Engineers - Baltimore Post is seeking sponsors and attendees for the 2023 Engineers Appreciation Dinner at the United States Naval Academy on March 27th, 2023. Your sponsorship allows SAME to celebrate the midshipmen graduating from USNA engineering programs in 2023.

Sponsors receive tickets to join the midshipmen for dinner and keynote presentation. Don’t miss this opportunity!

Dinner Keynote Speaker:

Ben Nichols, President of Harkins Builders, Inc.

Ben is a 2008 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS in Ocean Engineering. Prior to entering the civilian world, Ben served on active duty in the military as a Marine Corps Combat Engineer Officer. His tours of duty included serving as a Platoon Commander in Marjah, Afghanistan in 2010 and serving as a Marine Corps liaison to the Naval Construction Forces to include overseas deployments to Japan, the Philippines, Spain and a domestic deployment to New York City in support of Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Ben is a consummate professional who is mission-focused and committed to serving the needs of Harkins’ clientele. He continues to give back to our veteran community by serving on the boards of directors of the USO and the Society of American Military Engineers.

Dinner Registration Information:

Individual guests may join us for dinner but must register in advance to coordinate access to the yard and parking. Advanced Registration is required - walk-Ins are not accepted. Registration closes March 20, 2023
